Elevated Careers, LLC ("Elevated Careers," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through www.elevated.careers, related webpages and forms, the What's Next? Career Quiz, the Corporate Career Explorer, the Elevated Career Change Accelerator, newsletters, digital resources, coaching services, the Corporate Ready Pipeline, purchases, and other products or services offered by Elevated Careers (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy also applies to information you provide when you communicate with us by email, submit a form, make a purchase, participate in a program, or otherwise interact with Elevated Careers.

Please also review our Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Services.

  • Account information, such as account credentials, customer profile information, product access, and account preferences.

  • Career and professional information, such as your current or former role, years of experience, education history, employment history, skills, career interests, preferred roles, industries, salary preferences, work-location preferences, LinkedIn profile, resume, professional materials, work eligibility information, and other career information you choose to provide.

  • Quiz information, including your responses to the What's Next? Career Quiz, your quiz result, and information you provide in connection with receiving or following up on that result.

  • Purchase and transaction information, including the product or service purchased, purchase date, price, payment status, discounts or promotional codes used, and related customer-service information.

  • Country or region information, where you provide it for Global Access Pricing, customer support, legal compliance, tax administration, or other purposes described below.

  • Communications, including emails, form submissions, questions, customer-service requests, feedback, reviews, testimonials, and other communications you send to us.

  • Professional information available through sources you direct us to review, such as a LinkedIn profile or other publicly available professional material, when relevant to a Service you request.

  • Website and device information, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate geographic information derived from technical information, dates and times of visits, and other information about how you interact with the Website.

  • Cookie and analytics information, as described further below.

Please provide only information reasonably necessary for the Service you are using.

2. What's Next? Career Quiz

The What's Next? Career Quiz is currently provided using Interact, a third-party quiz platform.

When you take the quiz, we may collect or receive:

  • your answers to quiz questions;

  • your calculated quiz result;

  • your name and email address, if requested or provided;

  • information about how you interact with the quiz; and

  • related technical or device information processed in connection with the quiz.

Interact processes quiz information in connection with providing the quiz platform to Elevated Careers.

Elevated Careers controls how quiz responses collected for our quiz are used for our business purposes.

We may use your quiz responses and result to:

  • calculate and deliver your quiz result;

  • personalize the information displayed to you;

  • recommend relevant career-exploration resources;

  • provide the appropriate version or content associated with a product you purchase;

  • tailor follow-up educational content or offers, where permitted;

  • understand the interests and career needs of our audience;

  • improve our quiz, products, resources, and Services; and

  • analyze how users engage with our career-exploration tools.

The quiz uses automated scoring rules to determine a result based on the answers you select.

This automated scoring is used only for career exploration and personalization. Elevated Careers does not use quiz scoring to make employment decisions or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Quiz results are also subject to the career-exploration disclaimers contained in our Terms of Use.

3. Corporate Career Explorer

If you purchase or access the Corporate Career Explorer, we may use information associated with your quiz participation, including your quiz result, to provide content aligned with that result.

For example, different purchasers may receive a result-specific introduction, starting point, or related career-exploration material.

The Corporate Career Explorer is not intended to create an employment profile for employers, and purchasing or using it does not cause your quiz information to be provided to prospective employers or recruiters.

We may retain information showing that you purchased or accessed the Corporate Career Explorer for purposes such as:

  • delivering the product;

  • maintaining customer access;

  • customer support;

  • processing or documenting the transaction;

  • preventing fraud or unauthorized access;

  • administering applicable purchase terms;

  • understanding product usage; and

  • complying with financial, tax, legal, or recordkeeping requirements.

4. Artificial Intelligence Tools and the AI Career Exploration Lab

Some Elevated Careers products, including the Corporate Career Explorer, may contain prompts, exercises, or instructions designed for use with third-party artificial intelligence services.

Using those third-party AI services is optional unless otherwise expressly stated.

When you independently copy an Elevated Careers prompt into a third-party AI service and provide information directly to that service, the information is provided to the third party, not to Elevated Careers.

We do not automatically receive the job descriptions, personal information, career information, prompts, responses, or other material you enter directly into a third-party AI tool.

If you later choose to send AI-generated material or related information to Elevated Careers, that information will be treated according to this Privacy Policy.

Third-party AI providers maintain their own privacy, security, retention, and data-use practices. You should review the applicable provider's terms and privacy practices before providing information to it.

Do not enter confidential employer information, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical information, legally protected information, or other sensitive information into an AI service unless you have independently determined that doing so is appropriate.

5. Career Change Accelerator and Other Digital Products

When you enroll in the Career Change Accelerator or purchase another digital product, we may collect and process information necessary to:

  • complete your purchase;

  • provide access to the product;

  • maintain your customer account;

  • administer installment plans or other payment arrangements;

  • provide product-related communications;

  • deliver customer support;

  • document participation or product access;

  • provide requested reviews, coaching, or related Services; and

  • improve our products and customer experience.

If you voluntarily provide career information, resumes, professional materials, job descriptions, application materials, or other information while using an Elevated Careers Service, we may process that information to provide the Service you requested.

6. Corporate Ready Pipeline

The Corporate Ready Pipeline is an opt-in service.

Information you provide for other Elevated Careers Services is not automatically made available to employers or recruiters merely because you are an Elevated Careers customer or subscriber.

If you affirmatively opt into the Corporate Ready Pipeline, we may collect information such as:

  • your name and contact information;

  • LinkedIn profile;

  • target roles;

  • resume or resumes;

  • work authorization information;

  • relocation or location preferences;

  • industry preferences;

  • compensation preferences;

  • professional artifacts or portfolio information;

  • leadership level or experience; and

  • other information requested through the Pipeline.

By opting in, you authorize Elevated Careers to use the information designated for the Pipeline to identify potential alignment with recruiter or employer requests and, where appropriate, provide relevant information to recruiters or employers.

Participation does not guarantee that information will be shared with a particular employer, that an employer will contact you, or that you will receive an interview or employment offer.

Information provided through the Corporate Ready Pipeline will otherwise be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

7. Country of Residence and Global Access Pricing

Certain Elevated Careers forms may ask you to provide your country of residence.

We may use this information to:

  • respond to your inquiry;

  • determine whether Global Access Pricing or other region-based pricing is available;

  • provide an applicable price, discount, or promotional code;

  • administer the offer;

  • prevent misuse or fraud;

  • administer taxes or payments;

  • comply with sanctions, trade restrictions, legal requirements, or regulatory obligations; and

  • provide customer support.

Global Access Pricing may vary by country or region and may change over time.

We ask you to provide your country of residence directly. We do not require precise GPS location to determine Global Access Pricing eligibility.

Country-of-residence information may be associated with other information you provide, including your name, email address, form responses, purchase history, customer account, and transaction information.

8. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website or use certain Services, we and service providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect information about your device and activity.

This may include:

  • IP address;

  • browser and device type;

  • operating system;

  • approximate geographic information;

  • referring website or source;

  • pages viewed;

  • dates and times of visits;

  • links clicked;

  • interactions with pages or forms;

  • cookie or similar identifiers; and

  • other technical and usage information.

We use this information for purposes such as understanding how the Website is used, improving performance, measuring engagement, identifying technical problems, maintaining security, preventing abuse, and evaluating our marketing and business activities.

Automatically collected information may qualify as personal information or personal data under some privacy laws.

9. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Like many commercial websites, Elevated Careers uses or may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels, tags, server logs, and similar technologies.

A cookie is a small file stored on or associated with your device that can help websites remember information about a visit.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used for:

  • essential website operation;

  • login and account functionality;

  • remembering preferences;

  • analytics and performance measurement;

  • understanding how visitors use the Website;

  • measuring conversions;

  • improving marketing; and

  • advertising, where enabled and permitted.

We use Google Analytics or related Google analytics technology to better understand Website usage.

Google and other analytics providers may collect information such as browser and device information, page interactions, cookie identifiers, approximate geographic information, and other usage data according to their own terms and privacy practices.

We may also use advertising or social-media technologies from time to time to understand advertising performance or deliver more relevant advertising.

You can control or delete cookies using your browser settings. Where a cookie or privacy-preference tool is provided on our Website, you may also use that tool to manage available choices.

Disabling some cookies may affect Website functionality.

Where applicable law requires us to recognize a qualifying browser-based privacy preference mechanism, we will handle that preference as required by applicable law.

If you provide your email address, we may use it to provide the resource, product, quiz result, account information, receipt, appointment information, customer support, or other communication you requested.

We may also send educational, newsletter, product, promotional, or marketing communications where permitted by applicable law and consistent with the choices you make when providing your information.

Where applicable law requires affirmative consent to marketing, we will seek that consent.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email.

You may also contact us at [email protected] to request removal from marketing communications.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending non-marketing communications reasonably necessary to administer a purchase, account, appointment, payment obligation, customer-service request, legal notice, or Service you requested.

We may retain records of your email subscription preferences so that we can honor your choices.

12. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose information to another party when you ask us to, authorize the disclosure, or otherwise consent.

13. Analytics, Advertising, and Privacy-Law Definitions of "Sale" or "Sharing"

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

Some privacy laws use terms such as "sell," "share," or "targeted advertising" more broadly than their everyday meanings.

For example, the use of certain advertising cookies, pixels, or analytics technologies can in some circumstances be treated as sharing personal information for advertising purposes even when no money is exchanged for the information.

If Elevated Careers engages in activity that gives you a statutory right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing, we will provide the choices required by applicable law.

You may also contact us at [email protected] regarding applicable privacy choices.

14. Payment Information

Purchases may be processed through third-party checkout and payment providers.

When you make a purchase, the payment provider may collect information such as your name, billing address, payment method, card information, or other financial information necessary to process the transaction.

Elevated Careers generally receives transaction information such as the amount paid, product purchased, date, payment status, and information necessary to maintain your customer account or resolve payment issues.

We do not need your full payment-card number to provide our career-development products and do not intentionally request that you send full credit-card information to us by email.

Payment providers handle payment information according to their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices.

15. Third-Party Websites, Services, and Affiliate Links

Our Website, emails, products, job resources, or Services may contain links to third-party websites, employers, job boards, AI providers, software providers, retailers, or other services.

When you leave an Elevated Careers property and interact with a third party, that third party's privacy practices apply to information you provide to it.

Elevated Careers does not control the privacy or security practices of third-party websites or services.

Some links may be affiliate links. Elevated Careers may receive compensation if you make a purchase or take another qualifying action through an affiliate relationship.

A third party's collection of information on its own website is governed by that third party's privacy practices.

16. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for other legitimate business and legal purposes.

Retention periods may depend on factors such as:

  • whether retention is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and reasonable backup practices.

Information may remain temporarily in secure backup systems after deletion from active systems.

We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies you.

17. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process and the size and nature of our business.

These measures are intended to help protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, storage system, transmission method, or internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Email is not always a secure method for transmitting sensitive information.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, complete payment-card information, passwords, medical records, or other highly sensitive information to us through ordinary email.

We may process information where reasonably necessary for legitimate business interests, such as operating and improving the Services, providing customer support, preventing fraud, securing our Website, understanding product usage, or communicating about our business, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable rights.

Legal Obligations

We may process information when necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, sanctions, or other obligations.

Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, receive certain data in portable form, and lodge a complaint with an appropriate supervisory authority.

You may exercise applicable rights by contacting [email protected].

21. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Certain U.S. state privacy laws provide residents with additional rights when the law applies to a particular business and processing activity.

Depending on applicable law, these rights may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of personal information, or opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling.

Some laws also provide rights relating to certain sensitive personal information.

Elevated Careers does not use the What's Next? Career Quiz to make employment, credit, housing, insurance, or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about users.

We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising privacy rights protected by applicable law.

To submit an applicable state privacy request, contact:

Whether a particular state privacy law applies to Elevated Careers depends on that law's scope, thresholds, exemptions, and other requirements.

22. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults.

Elevated Careers does not knowingly offer the Services to or intentionally collect personal information from children under 18 through Services intended for adult career development.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, business practices, service providers, or legal obligations.

When we update the Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
